What are the registration deadlines?

Early Registration: May 22-26 during Edison High School Lunches

Regular Registration: May 29-June 3 (Day of)

Last Chance to Register: At the Walkathon (June 3)

There is no "deadline" to register.  You can register at the walkathon the day of the event!  However, early registration is extremely encouraged!!!

T-shirts are only guaranteed to those who register by one of the early registration deadlines.  Some t-shirts are available at the event, but the size options are generally limited.  Additionally, those who register early are eligible for several prizes given out at our awards ceremony specifically for early registration walkers.

What is the difference between team and individual?

When registering for the walkathon, you have the option of registering with a team.  The size of a team can range anywhere from 2-40 members.  Often, sports teams, extracurricular groups, parent groups, or friends will choose to register together as a team.

Teams are eligible for certain prizes at our awards ceremony, based on the combined efforts of all team members.  Teams must name a "team captain" to handle all of the requirements specific to a team registration.  Team captains are mailed packets upon registration, outlining all of these differences.

Individuals, however, are more than welcome!  Many of our walkers do not register with a team, but simply choose to come out on their own.  Often, several friends will register as individuals, to avoid the extra requirements that come with registering as a team.
